As I dropped off a finished poster of my friends’ son to him on game day I was pleasantly surprised that a few different team parents saw the poster and really liked it. The picture was from the previous week’s game so it was very recent and I also made up a best of poster from that game just to showcase some of the other photos. Once the photo made it to the team mom she loved it so I decided to press…”Do you know who I could talk to about bringing this type of photo to your team?” Team Mom: “Why yes, I think he is right over here lets go and see if we can talk to him”
It is going perfect so far, everybody likes the picture and we are on our way to talk to the head honcho. (Side note: Often the people that run youth organizations are notoriously very busy people and overworked.) When we finally get his undivided attention he expresses his interest and says that he likes it and is going to talk to the board to get the ok. He let me know that they had playoffs for the next few weeks so we still had a few opportunities to offer this to the parents. I say…LETS GOOOO!!! So right now we are waiting to hear back from the El Presidente…
